Introduction

This Green Smoothie is a simple and delicious way to increase your vegetable intake. Packed with leafy greens, a touch of fruit, and creamy avocado, it’s loaded with antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals to fuel your day.

Ingredients

For One Serving

  • 1 leaf Swiss chard
  • 1 leaf kale
  • 2 leaves red leaf lettuce
  • 1/2 apple, cored
  • A handful of baby spinach
  • A handful of parsley
  • 1/8 avocado
  • A pinch of cinnamon
  • 1 cup water

Instructions

Blending the Smoothie

  1. Wash and prepare all ingredients. Remove any tough stems from the kale and Swiss chard.
  2. Place the Swiss chard, kale, lettuce, apple, spinach, parsley, avocado, cinnamon, and water into a blender.
  3. Using a high speed blender, blend on high until smooth and creamy.
  4. Pour into a glass and enjoy immediately.
