Welcome to Class

Goals:

  • Learn more about the Mediterranean meal plan and get an introduction to Digestion and Absorption
  • Learn how to set up a stationary bike
  • Take time for yourself each day to relax. Learn how to hardwire happiness Increase time for yourself to 10-15 minutes each session
  • Increase SMART goals to 3 per week. One each for nutrition, exercise and taking time for yourself.
  • Daily Mantra “I am Confident”

Nutrition Activity
The Mediterranean meal plan continues to show benefits. It’s whole foods rich in fruits, vegetables, whole grains, beans and legumes, and healthy fats are what keep us healthy.

Digestion and Absorption
The food we eat turns into small particles that nourish the body to keep it healthy and strong. Our body is an incredible and amazing machine.

Exercise (Always check with your doctor before starting any exercise program)
If your goal is weight loss, then a stationary bike is considered one of the best exercises for initial weight loss. It’s easy on the knees and joints and you can adjust the resistance to kick up the intensity. Give it a try.
