Nutrition Activity

There are many guidelines to shop healthy at the grocery store, however I feel the 2 most important are bringing a food list and DON’T go HUNGRY! Your food list should come from your menu and meal plans, and of course what you need to restock based on what’s in your pantry and refrigerator.

Grocery Shopping Tips

Dining out is a treat. It’s enjoyable and fun to get together with friends and family and relax, enjoying a nice dinner that someone else made. However, we all know the pitfalls when dining out, like high calories, fat, sugar, and salt found in a lot of foods. Learn some techniques from this video to dine out healthy. Some easy ones to implement are cutting your meals in half, sharing, choosing salads with dressings on the side, and staying clear of fried foods.

Eating Healthy When Dining Out

Exercise (Always check with your doctor before starting any exercise program)
