- Take time for yourself each day – “Laughter” is the best medicine
- Complete 3 SMART goals, one each for nutrition, exercise and take time for yourself. Keep food records. Journal
- Daily Mantra “I will smile and impact someone’s day positively”
Nutrition Activity
After learning the healthy food choices from the Mediterranean and the Whole Foods plant-based meal plans it’s now time to put them into practice by making healthy breakfasts and snacks.
Also start studying recipes and learn how to modify them by either reducing, substituting or eliminating those food items in the recipes that may not be healthy. Here is one from the Oldways website called “Avocado Quinoa Breakfast Bake”. It taste great!

Increase time to 35-40 minutes each day. Use a combination of things learned like mindfulness, cultivating compassion and laughter.
